Donatos are a Mediterranean-style donut, typically stuffed with cheese and mayonnaise.
It’s one of those dishes that you probably never thought you’d have to make at home, but it’s a surprisingly easy recipe to make.
Here’s how to make it. 1.
Melt your butter and sugar in a skillet.
Add a couple of tablespoons of flour and let it melt until you get a dough that’s soft and elastic.
When the dough gets nice and soft, add in a tablespoon of mayonnais and mix.
Spread the dough out and shape it into a ball.
Once you’ve formed the donut into a round shape, dip it into your buttery mayonnaises.
Repeat this process with a second dough ball and continue to dip the donuts until they’re all nice and golden brown.
When you’re done, put the donatos in a dish and top with mayonnaiser.
Repeat with the remaining donuts and cheese, and serve! Enjoy!
